Detailed Description

  • Review of preliminary flood assessment report to identify the limitation observed.
  • Field observation and setting up of ground control points and establishing the UVA flight mission/path;
  • Develop DSM and DEM of the Kamalpokhari and Kahukhola catchments and further downstream areas to be delineated according to expert opinion.
  • Review of historical rainfall data and trend analysis
  • Model the surface runoff and develop a flood hazard map.
  • Explore the sustainable flood risk reduction measures focusing on the Nature-Based solution(NBS).
